Minnesota Young DFL Summer Soiree - Saturday August 9th, 5:00-7:00 PM
 I know you're as concerned as I am about the outcome of the election on November 4th. The direction of our country, and our state hang in the balance, and the stakes cannot be greater. In Minnesota young voters have the opportunity to do our part in winning the White House, retaking Senator Paul Wellstone's U.S. Senate seat, electing great new U.S. Representatives such as Ashwin Madia, Steve Sarvi, and El Tinklenberg, and electing great new State Representatives as well.
In 2006, the DFL launched a ground-breaking Youth Coordinated Campaign to turn out young voters which aided the election of Democrats across the state. In 2008, The Youth Coordinated Campaign and Students for Barack Obama will work together to turn out young voters to achieve a DFL sweep. So if you are young (or just young at heart) and want to make a difference in Minnesota politics, join the Minnesota Young DFL and special guests as we kick off the 2008 Youth Coordinated Campaign.
